The World Strings Trio
The new and one of the best Polish jazz project. The three finest and most experienced musicians, Maciej Strzelczyk, Krzysztof Wolinski & Piotr Rodowicz wanted to play a tribute to the two most famous giants XX century musicians Stephane Grapelli (violinist) and Django Reinhardt (guitarist). The tribute was recorded in 1998 with EMI as a wonderful and highly acclaimed CD called "GRAPPELLING". It brings out the charm and swinging joy of the legendary "Hot Club France" to the modern feelings of todays acoustic jazz. On the CD you will find famous tunes from Stephane Grappelli which he used to play and also compositions of the band members. Recently this trio recorded an even hotter album called "Live at Rabarbar-Warsaw" including a program of the biggest hits of today.
